About NAPREC

Our mission

NAPREC connects Puerto Ricans and allies across the United States to advance full political equality through statehood. We make the public record easier to understand and help people participate through education, research, and civic action.

Our editorial standard

We link to original documents, date historical material, and distinguish verified facts from NAPREC’s advocacy position. A local vote records public preference; a proposed federal bill does not become law until Congress acts. We welcome corrections at info@naprec.org.

What we do

Explain 20 issues affecting Puerto Rico with concise, sourced guides.

Organize legislation, hearings, and historical news so readers can check the record.

Connect voters with official election services and constituents with their congressional offices.

Bring people together through NAPREC Equality Talks and community participation.

Media and collaboration

For interviews, source corrections, or collaboration, contact info@naprec.org or (407) 908-7151.

Our Spanish homepage and research center provide the same mission and core resources in Spanish.
